McCain's sleazy donor -- where's the media outrage?

Read this and then imagine if the candidate's name was Obama. Or Hillary Clinton. The media would report on this NON-STOP.

Shi Sheng Hao, his friends and relatives have given over $250,000 to McCain's campaign and the Republican party in the last year. His residence, occupation and whereabouts are unknown. He declared bankruptcy in 1995, registered to vote AFTER he began donating, and doesn't live at any of his listed addresses.

Obama hits McCain where it counts

Jon Stewart says what we're all thinking

Last night on The Daily Show Jon Stewart took on John McCain's Meet the Press "senior moment" and followed that with a mocking send up of Johnny Mac's increasing use of condescending air quotes. video

WHY is Tom DeLay still on TV?

Liar and corrupt (is there any other kind?) former Republican Congressman Tom DeLay is under indictment and from the US House in disgrace, yet he's still allowed to take to the airwaves as a pundit and commenter on current events. SURPRISE! The partisan Republican ALWAYS repeats partisan Republican talking points.

In this case, DeLay outdoes himself. Appearing on Hardball with Chris Matthews, DeLay characterized Barack Obama as a communist, a radical, a terrorist, and a Constitution-hater. Matthews, predictably, rolled over for this garbage.

What does it take to get a conservative Republican taken off the air?

Cokie Roberts is a dumbass

From Media Matters:

During coverage of the October 2 vice-presidential debate on PBS' Charlie Rose, Rose asked, "Did either of them make any mistakes that you noticed?" National Public Radio senior news analyst Cokie Roberts responded that Sen. Joe Biden "talked about the Bosniaks." Roberts later said: "[I]f [Gov. Sarah Palin] had said 'Bosniak,' everybody would be making a big deal of it, you know." In fact, Biden correctly referred to certain residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina as Bosniaks. According to the U.S. State Department, as of 2002, the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina consisted of the following ethnic groups: "Bosniak 48.3%, Serb 34.0%, Croat 15.4%, others 2.3%."

So, can I expect Cokie Roberts to apologize or admit that Biden was right and she was wrong? I doubt it.

Liberal media bias, my ass.
