Who are you calling a skank, skank?

From Media Matters:

On his KSFO radio show, Lee Rodgers said that "the female leadership of the Democratic Party" is made up of "ugly skanks." He also stated: "Sarah Palin's good-looking and they hate that." He also declared: "I think we have to ask: Would you like Sarah Palin better if she got pregnant again and did have an abortion, because it's obvious, with a lot of liberal women, killing babies is the main priority they have."

I don't hate that Palin is good looking. I will point out, though, that physical attractiveness seems to be her only positive attribute. Her words and actions show her to be petty, venal, corrupt, ruthless, disloyal, small-minded, shallow, incurious, smug, arrogant, intellectually incurious, conceited, and dishonest.

If you're really convinced that all Democratic women are physically unattractive, I suggest that you check out photos of Jennifer Granholm, Maria Cantwell, Mary Landrieu, Blanche Lincoln, and Stephanie Herseth. If you want to compare female politicians only on the basis of their looks, well Democrats STILL kick the asses of their Republican counterparts.

The one-sided "elitist" standard

From MSNBC's MSNBC Live:

While assessing Sen. Joe Biden's speech on the economy, Reuters reporter Jon Decker said Biden doesn't "help his case when he's making the argument on economic issues wearing French cuffs and dressed to the nines. I think that he's really got to connect with these voters." Anchor Chris Jansing agreed: "Yeah, it's about the message, but also about the perception. I guess ... I was a little surprised too that he didn't have that coat off and roll up his sleeves."

Where were these fucking retards for this story? This? This? This? This?

Why are only Democrats held to this made up standard?

Fucking racists

At the totally misnamed Values Voter Summit this weekend, racist (and clearly self loathing gay) vendors sold an item called “Obama Waffles”.

Just look at this box, and check out the closeups on the video. Racism, religious prejudice, nasty comments about Obama's wife -- they're all in here.

Now, do you think the "liberal" media will cover this CLEARLY racist act against Obama? Will it get anywhere near the play Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment got last week?

Well, with guys like Lou Dobbs talking about how great the racist waffle box is, I doubt it.

No, Godammit, No

From the AP:

Biden prepares for more prominent role in campaign

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — The vice presidential nominee you aren't hearing so much about, Democrat Joe Biden, is planning a more prominent role to help validate Barack Obama among white working-class voters and criticize the Republican rival he's long called a friend...

...Biden's focus will be on McCain, not Palin, campaign officials say. They are calculating that the election will be determined on voters' feelings about Obama and McCain. Biden is in a unique position to help convince voters that McCain is the wrong choice, they say, because of a relationship that goes back even beyond their 22 years of working together in the Senate...

..Biden's argument will be that he knows McCain well enough to say that even though he's right on character, he's wrong on the issues, advisers said.

No, Godammit, NO!

WHY would ANY Democrat say anything good about the REPUBLICAN nominee for president?

Do you honestly think John McCain will say anything nice about Joe Biden or Barack Obama? Hell no, he won't.

Joe Biden's ONLY argument about John McCain ought to be that if voters don't know McCain is evil, it's because McCain is lying about his evilness. Anything less detracts from the message that voters should cast ballots FOR Obama and Biden.

Jesus, how come I have to explain the basics of politics and mass communications to people who have spent lifetimes in politics?

UPDATE:

From The Politico:

Current campaign aides and other Republicans who’ve closely watched the race, however, have a very different response to the media elites and good-government scolds: We don’t care what you think.

McCain seems to have made a choice that many politicians succumb to but that he had always promised to avoid — he appears ready to do whatever it takes to win, even it if soils his reputation.

“We recognize it’s not going to be 2000 again,” McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said, alluding to the media’s swooning coverage of McCain’s ill-fated crusade against then-Gov. George W. Bush and the GOP establishment. “But he lost then. We’re running a campaign to win. And we’re not too concerned about what the media filter tries to say about it.”

Where's the "right character" in that, Senator Biden? PLEASE, please ATTACK McCain and quit praising him.

Assholes. Just assholes

On the same morning that John McCain and Barack Obama released a joint statement pledging to avoid politics in light of the anniversary of the terrorist attacks, McCain's campaign falsely accused Democrats of throwing away 12,000 American flags.

A Democratic National Convention Committee spokesman said in part: "Stories circulating about flags at the Democratic National Convention are false. We distributed more than 125,000 American made flags at the Convention - the flags removed from Invesco field were intended for other events and taken without permission."

McCain is going to demonstrate the bipartisanship he promised in his acceptance speech by stealing flags and then lying about them in an effort to smear his opponents? This move reeks of desperation, along the lines of looking through Bill Clinton's passport file in an effort to "prove" he was a Soviet spy.

McCain and his staff would be ashamed -- if they knew how to feel shame.

And while I think of it, this is a CLASSIC example of why Democrats lose elections. You shouldn't be "sad" and "disappointed" that someone stole your flags and then lied about you by saying you threw them away. You should be "angered" and "outraged" and you should file a police report, followed by a press release DEMANDING that the thieves be arrested and brought to justice. Oh, and of course, you also DEMAND the return of your flags.

We know McCain was a POW -- give it a rest

I'm sick of hearing Republican convention speakers tell us over and over that "McCain was a POW" and "McCain served his country". These are the same rat bastards who thought Purple Heart band aids to mock John Kerry and Swift Boat Veterans for Truth were fair, and who thought belittling Max Cleland's loss of three limbs was an acceptable campaign tactic.

I want "POW Veterans for Truth" to allege that McCain collaborated with and accepted aid and comfort from the enemy. I don't care if it's not true -- I just want someone to spend millions saying it so that McCain has to counter it.

Democratic nominees for president almost always make the mistake of saying "we'll take the high road. I KNOW it'll work this time." For example:

Now, now, let me -- let there be no doubt. The Republican nominee, John McCain, has worn the uniform of our country with bravery and distinction, and for that we owe him our gratitude and our respect.

And next week, we'll also hear about those occasions when he's broken with his party as evidence that he can deliver the change that we need.

Well, recent history shows that the high road doesn't work. To beat these gutter dwellers, we need to jump right down in the gutter with them, step on the backs of their necks, and refuse to let them up.

Sarah Palin lies in prime time

Palin has demonstrated that she can read out loud, thus exceeding the incredibly low expectations she faced. As usual, the "liberal" media provides its analysis of her speech without context, and focusing only on style.

What about substance? It's worth pointing that she lied, and lied, and lied, and lied...

It's not true that she "said thanks but no thanks on that bridge to nowhere." In fact, she supported it, and by the time she ran for governor it had been killed in Congress.

It's not true that she is against pork barrel spending. As mayor of Wasilla, she employed a lobbying firm with ties to corrupt Alaskans Republican Congressman Don Young and indicted Republican Senator Ted Stevens, and that firm worked them to get Wasilla tens of millions of dollars in pork barrel spending.

It's simply not true that she's fought corruption in Alaska. Ted Stevens campaigned for her, and she campaigned for him.

Palin praised Palin for not having a chef, a chauffeur, and a private jet. Hmm, which candidate DOES have those things? Not Obama or Biden.

All Sarah Palin did was prove that she's a perfect Republican national candidate, because she can lie with ease.
